Description of approach

If you come to Kraków by plane than the best way to get to Zakopane is by bus, which will take around 2 hours.There is an train from Kraków to Zakopane, which takes 4 hours and is not very comfortable. The easiest way to get from Zakopane to Kościelisko is to take a taxi. Taxis can be found at the taxi rank 100 m from the bus station, the fere is about 15 Euro. There is also a local bus, which runs every half hour between Zakopane and Kościelisko.

By car the best rout from Kraków is along the nr 7 road to Chabówka , turnig right onto the 958 road Czarny Dunajec and Kościelisko. Avoid the 47 road during high seasons it gets congested.

From the south you need to take the road E77, crossing the Slovakion border in Chyżne toword Jabłonka , Czarny Dunajec and Kościelisko.
